OUTFIT: Primark Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit / Primark
Bag / Primark
Jewellery / New Look
Sandals / New Look

I have been sporting this jumpsuit A LOT lately!
It's so lightweight and comfortable that it's been a godsend for the humid weather we've had. I picked the jumpsuit up in Primark a while back for just £10. It's not the best fitting item, but for £10 I can't grumble.
I wore this over the weekend; E and I went for a little country stroll to make the most of the weather, (and I obviously used this as an opportunity for shooting some outfit pics!) before retreating to our local for a drink and a steak dinner. Perfect!
What did you all get up to over the weekend?

OUTFIT: Casual Braids

I know, I know, fashion bloggers are supposed to be polished to perfection with pictures shot in stunning locations. Well, clearly I'm failing at becoming one of those type bloggers.

Not all fashion bloggers swan around in 6inch heels all day long you know! Maybe I'm just speaking for myself here? But, I don't mind if you know I don't always wear an outfit that looks 'put together'. Sometimes I just throw on something casual thing because, well, I'm sometimes I'm too lazy to iron and because sometimes, like yesterday, I just want to be comfy. I feel this look captures my typical casual wear; don't worry, I'm not about to start posting pictures of me lounging around in my hoodie etc!

I'm really terrible at doing my hair, but I love braids at the moment, and I can just about make a standard plait in my hair - I just wish it was a bit longer so my layers didn't all poke out. So, I worked in a loose braid to match my plaited belt. I really want to challenge myself to create a better style, maybe one like this:

Anyway, I wore this outfit to the cinema last night. Although it was lovely and sunny we decided to catch a late film as I was desperate to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Anyone else seen the film yet? What do you think of this casual outfit?

Blogger Book Club

As a few of my readers will know, I have started a book club for us bloggers!
I thought it would be a great way to find other bloggers out there with similar interest and hopefully so we can all make some new online friends. If you read my last post on the blog, you will know that I have had a hectic July, but I am now well on my way to reading the first book for bloggers book club, as I know a few of you are too! Simply, the aim of the book club was to make connections with other bloggers, get people reading more often and hopefully I will eventually be able to organise meet-ups for the book club. I am sorry I didn't post this sooner, but as I said it's been hectic.

I hope that all of you who got in touch after the first batch of emails were sent out are able to join us  for August's book (which will be announced in the review of this month's book). If you think anyone else may like to join the book club, please forward them this post. The first book reviews shall be uploaded on 31st July and I will be setting up a blog hop so that we can all read each others review.

Happy reading guys!

p.s I created a hashtag we could all use for the book club, however unfortunately it seems another book club use the same one and things could therefore get confusing! If any of you have any good ideas for a # that isn't already taken please leave a comment below.

Life Update

Sorry things have been quiet here on the blog recently. Things have been busy and I am still getting used to scheduling blog posts etc. I still feel as though my blog is in the early stages and I am trying to get to grips with it all.
I LOVE my little blog and feel bad for having neglected it slightly this month! But as I said things have been really busy and sometimes life gets in the way and you have to prioritise. (Now I feel like I'm turning into my mother). I firmly believe that instead of stressing about things that happen and which you can't control, you have to let go and enjoy life to the fullest. No good comes from stressing. None.
So although I am writing this feeling pretty exhausted, I am equally excited that I now have a bit more time to get blogging!

OUTFIT: Festival Style #2

Dress / H&M
Denim Jacket / Topshop
Cowgirl Boots / Aldo
Bag / Forever 21
Sunglasses / River Island

Following on from my last post, I shot some more pictures for a little OOTD, however, I later decided this look would make for great festival attire. I wore my new H&M dress, which I just love, with my cowgirl boots (again), but this time teamed with my trusty denim jacket.

I love the print and cut-out detail of this dress, and even though it's not the most summery of colours I think this dress is very wearable in the summer months. I may do another style post featuring this dress in the near future, so watch this space for other tips on how I would wear this type of summer dress. By the way, did I mention this dress was only £15? Bargain huh?

What bargains have you been picking up lately? I would love to see what you've been buying.

P.s I have linked up with Style Sessions and Because Shanna Said So, so be sure to check out these blogs.
